An Artist's Work/Life Balance (Boston Comics in Color Festival 2024)
More often than not, artists must wear multiple hats to support themselves in any consistent capacity. This, combined with the extensive investment of time and energy the creative process requires, can lead to negative impacts on work/life balance. Join us for a special panel with several esteemed creators who discuss their experiences and tools for navigating life as an artist. Moderated by Caiana Luse Moise and featuring TiElla Grimes, Zahirah Nur Truth, Gabriel Reid, and Bithiah Holton

Meet The Makers (Boston Comics in Color Festival 2021)
Back in 2021 Boston Comics in Color Festival hosted their programming online due to the ongoing pandemic. I had the opportunity to be one of the featured guests on the Meet the Makers panel along with Barrington Edwards, Ben Passmore, Jason Alexander, Tim Feilder, Deian, and Justin from Anywhere But Here Komics. Special Thanks to Cagen Luse for welcoming me onto the panel and into this wonderful BCICF community!
Comics in Color: Volume 29 (2020)
As part of the ongoing Comics in Color artist speaker series, I had the opportunity to talk about my first comic "Healing Us" a discussion on the intersection of racial justice and mental health. I'm also joined by my professor Dr. Tracy Robinson-Wood to add to the conversation in the ongoing healing process as a Black community. Special Thanks again to Cagen Luse for the opportunity and welcoming me into the Boston Comics in Color community.
