Whether it’s comics, animation, or film, at the heart of all of my work I hope that I can inspire the next generation of creators to tell stories that reflect their experiences in the same way that so many creators before me inspired me. All this to say that art education is some of my favorite work I do!

I’ve had the opportunity to teach and lead workshops and courses for students of all ages at libraries, schools, museums, universities, and a whole lot of comic conventions! Whether it’s a one-day workshop or over the course of several weeks, I strive to bring energetic, engaging, and empowering lesson plans, focused on giving students creative freedom to explore the topics they care about the most.
I believe everyone, no matter your experience or skill level, can get something valuable out of making art together, whether self-expression, teaching about important topics, or just having plain fun. So grab a paper and pencil, and let’s make something awesome!
